Miels de Monsieur et Madame Bruc
Cette fois-ci, nous mettons à l'honneur Monsieur et Madame Bruc qui nous approvisionnent en miel local !
Vous pourrez le déguster au petit déjeuner et potentiellement avec votre fromage.
Vous en trouverez également en vente à l'accueil de l'hôtel.
Voici leur histoire :
Installés aux Crozes-Bas sur les flancs des monts du Bougès (1414m), nous avons repris une exploitation familiale qui a toujours eu une vocation d’élevage ovin et d’apiculture.
Le caractère sauvage de cette partie des Cévennes, où il y a peu d’exploitations, a permis la conservation d’une flore riche de milliers d’espèces et d’une faune spécifique.
Nos ruchers se situent au cœur du Parc National des Cévennes, du Causse calcaire aux Cévennes schisteuses, ce qui nous permet d’obtenir une grande variété de miels aux parfums divers : Miel de Châtaignier, Miel de Causse, Miel de Fleurs sauvages, Miel de Bruyère et Miel de Montagne.
En plus de nos ruches, nous avons profité de la richesse de nos Cévennes pour mettre au point une terrine de sanglier et de chevreuil, élaborées de manières traditionnelles. De plus, nous produisons du sirop, du coulis, des marrons au naturel, de la confiture de châtaignes et de gratte-cul récoltés sur notre exploitation.
